CCVAC’s “Helping our Heroes Fund” will help active duty and Veterans with the following:
- Housing
- Utilities
- Food
- Auto Repair
- Prescriptions
- Work Tools
- Work Clothes
- Other Basic Needs
“Helping our Heroes Fund” raises funds for CCVAC’s goal of assisting Active Military, Veterans and their families in obtaining benefits, services and resources to meet their basic needs.
The need to support our local military community is still great and thanks to your generosity, CCVAC is here to assist.
All active duty, guard members, reservists and veterans living in Oregon and Southwest Washington are eligible to access funds, if they meet the following criteria.
- They were deployed at some point during service
- If they are a veteran, they were honorably/general/general under honorable conditions discharged from service (Must produce their DD214)
- Produce a Photo ID
- Must write a statement/explanation of why assistance is needed
Helping our Heroes will require a copy of bill before any consideration will be made.
